I'm pleased to announce the release of LOST FATHERS: HOW WOMEN CAN HEAL FROM ADOLESCENT FATHER LOSS in April 2005 from Hazelden Press. This book is designed to help the adult woman work through the difficulties that occur when their fathers died or left during adolescence (12 - 21). The book is particularly important to me because my father died when I was 19 and it took me many years to understand the impact of this loss in my relationships and day to day life. The book contains writing exercises to help the reader move through to the pain of grief and beyond. It is my hope that this book will provide for others what I had been searching for myself.
